Luca Vineyard was established in 1998 by Don Luca, along with sons in-law Marco Iannetti and Anthony De Pizzol. All of the Vinrock wines are sourced entirely from this vineyard.
Don’s Italian heritage and experience with his father’s vineyard led the way for his involvement with Australia’s agricultural industry.
The Vinrock logo shows Don planting the first Shiraz cutting in 1998.
Initially, all the fruit was contracted. 2004 saw the first wines produced under the Vinrock label. The philosophy was, and still is, creation of wines expressing purity of variety and regional character.
Only three varietals are grown, a Grenache, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, with an emphasis on great fruit and flavour.
Recognition has grown as the vines mature, with numerous medals, a few five star ratings from James Halliday, and many Wine Show medals including a Gold Medal and Trophy for our latest Grenache.
