Luca Vineyard produces high quality Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon each year, of which most goes into our Vinrock range.
Fastidious viticulture and the great terroir means fruit of exceptional quality, and the resultant wines reflect this. High quality cleanskins are also made, with a growing club and private customer following. This range includes the very traditional McLaren Vale blend of Shiraz & Grenache. Vinrock McLaren Vale Shiraz 2008
McLaren Vale Shiraz 2008 Dense, inky purple: full-bodied shiraz, with layers of black fruits plus the expected touch of bitter chocolate; has good texture ,and no hint of dead fruit. Screwcap.
Vinrock McLaren Vale Grenache 2008
Light but clear crimson hue; the fragrant bouquet leads into bright red fruits on the palate, savoury/ spicy notes coming through on the back- palate and finish. Trophy McLaren Vale Wine Show. Screwcap.
